The reality of porn that few understand is that it causes a person to begin a downward journey. It impacts men and women differently, but both will begin a descent that will never lead to anywhere good.

 

For women, it will lead to false hopes, shattered dreams, loss of self-respect and purity, lost opportunities, the risk of disease & pregnancy, the risk of infertility, the loss of finding the right kind of man, and the risk of personal injury or death.

For men, it will lead to a darkening of conscience, or empathy, or remorse, of the capacity of any ability to commit wholeheartedly, the loss of integrity, the loss of your masculine soul, the loss of previously held morals, the loss of compassion, the loss of your marriage & your family, the loss of a mind that sees women and children as people to be cherished and protected, the loss of a capacity to understand chivalry, the loss of your future & freedom, and the loss of your desire to ever want to be normal again. And, it will lead to an increased appetite for that which is deviant, twisted, sadistic, malevolent, with a hunger to defile, steal, and destroy a person's hope, trust, faith, & their sense of self at the deepest level (aka "soul murder"). And, it will invite a very real form of evil that will settle into your mind, taking control, taking you prisoner to do its dark bidding.  And, when you awaken, it will be too late to undo the damage perpetrated by your hands.
